The Slach om Starum refers not only to this thrilling sailing race but also to the centuries-old conflict between Friesland and Holland over control of Stavoren. Join the traditional Slach om Starum and experience a spectacular regatta weekend off the coast of Stavoren!
- Friday, April 11th, 2025: Boarding from 8:00 PM in Stavoren or by 4:00 PM in Enkhuizen at the latest.
- Saturday, April 12th, 2025: Skippers’ meeting at 9:00 AM at the cruise jetty, followed by two exciting races at 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM. Evening results and celebration at 8:00 PM.
- Sunday, April 13th, 2025: Skippers’ meeting at 9:00 AM, final race at 10:30 AM with prize ceremony at 2:30 PM.
This special regatta welcomes all tjalks, bolkoppen and clippers, a unique sailing spectacle on the short but challenging racecourse. Hurry, starting positions are limited!
